Recipients: All People of the Free World (and their elected leaders)
Key Statement: The brutality and injustice in Iran Must Stop – The free world has an ethical and moral duty to support the struggle of the Iranian people for freedom and justice. We must all fully and unreservedly denounce and condemn the Islamic Regime in Iran for its brutality and oppression. No one should appease or reward the regime with further negotiations or lifting of sanctions.
We, members of the Alliance of Iranian-Canadians, strongly condemn the recent deadly repression of the defenseless people of Isfahan in central Iran in their peaceful demonstrations demanding accountability and condemning the Islamic regime’s complete disregard for the rule of law and for literally taking the entire country to the brink of destruction.
We implore the people of Canada and the rest of the free world to stand-by and fully support the legitimate rights of the oppressed people of Iran in their fight for peace, justice and freedom and their right to defend themselves.
We demand the leaders of the free-world (and specifically our leaders here in Canada) to fully and unconditionally condemn the brutal crackdown of innocent people by the regime in Iran and to support the legitimate right of the Iranian people to defend themselves and their natural rights.
The people of Iran extend their hand to the free world asking for their support as they continue to fight for their most basic and natural rights as free human beings.
The fascist regime in Iran has made it absolutely clear that it will never change its true nature as clearly demonstrated by repeated brutal crackdown of any and all descent in its entire history (at least twice this year alone – Khuzestan crackdown in July and Isfahan’s brutal repression in the last few days).
The people of Iran have demanded that the free world stop any and all negotiations with the regime that simply does not represent them. They implore and expect all freedom-loving people of the world and their respective elected governments to exert maximum pressure on the regime as they have done in the past on similar repressive regimes in Apartheid South Africa or countless other repressive regimes in recent history).
“Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere. (Martin Luther King, Jr.)
As the root cause of over 42 years of regional and world chaos, crisis and some of the world’s worst human rights abuses in modern history, as well as an escalating threat to world peace and security the Islamic Regime in Iran is no different in its nature to the Nazi regime in Germany or the Apartheid regime in South Africa; therefore our world will no doubt be a more peaceful, secure and prosperous place without this barbaric and fascist regime in Iran.
Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. (Martin Luther King, Jr.)
The peace-loving people of Iran, continue to fight for justice, freedom and their natural rights, and in doing so they gain strength from their rich and proud history and culture, as pioneers of World’s First Declaration of Human Rights over 2500 years ago. In this struggle the people of Iran will remember and fully appreciate their true friends who help and support them in their hour of need, just as the people of Iran have done so throughout their long history to many other nations and countries*.
